  3. • Resegmented so that accesses to disk are (I hope) less frequent.
  4. • Header & left margin choices when printing.
  5. • Centering of dialog boxes (so should look good on Mac II).
  6. • New wave form, yielding a softer tone for the music.
  7. • Removed a spurious error message which was displayed when the
  8.   total number of factors exceeded 100.  In fact there is no limit on
  9.   the TOTAL number of factors.  Rather, the following limits apply:
  10.      Maximum # of factors per group = 63.
  11.      Maximum # of groups = 30 (i.e. 29 independent variables)
  12.   Thus the total number of factors in the cells could be as high as
  13.   29 * 63 = 1827.
  14. • Box displays status during checking of tokens.
  15. • Box displays status during creation or loading of cells.
  16. • Speeded up insertion of text in windows.
  17. • Can copy picture to clipboard.
  18. • Clipboard can display both text and graphics.
  19. • Pictures copied from other applications can be displayed.
  20. • Printing of clipboard now supported, whether TEXT or PICT.
  21.   So now pictures from other applications can be printed in GoldVarb.
  22. • Update memory info (over the apple) at each run of varbrul
  23.   computations, since processing of cells can require much memory.
  24. • The application value dialog box has been improved -- i.e. it
  25.   now contains some explanatory comments & an example to help the user.
  26.   Also the checking of the string the user types is more strict -- the
  27.   application values typed in must be a subset (non-empty of course) of
  28.   the factors in the unrecoded group used as dependent variable, plus any
  29.   new factors introduced as recodes in the condition file.
  30. • New command “Generate factor spec’s” in the Token menu.
  31. • Some minor improvements.
  32. • Correction of bug in scattergram which occured when there were many
  33.   occurrences per cell.
